AboutWhy PianistDesk exists

Built for the people who keep music programs running.

PianistDesk is the coordination layer for collaborative-pianist programs in music schools and conservatoires.

Behind every recital, jury and exam there is a coordinator pairing students with pianists, chasing missing scores, and finding rehearsal times that work. Usually across a spreadsheet, a shared inbox, and a wall of sticky notes.

We replace that with one system shaped around how programs actually run. A student is paired with a pianist for the semester, the pairing gets one recurring weekly rehearsal slot, and every request, from first submission to performance-ready, is tracked in a single place that students, coordinators and pianists all see the same way.

PianistDesk is built by a small team that works directly with the schools using it. No layers of account management, no feature requests disappearing into a void.

How we work. Three commitments.

  1. Shaped by coordinators

Every workflow starts from how a real program runs a semester, not from a generic scheduling tool.

  2. A direct line to the builders

You write to the people who design and ship the product. Requests are answered, not queued.

  3. Your data stays yours

School and student data belong to the school. We only process it to operate PianistDesk, not for unrelated purposes. For us, that is the bare minimum.
